Business Ideaz.. how to Bring them to Fruition?

It has been a long time since i have been thinking of implementing some business ideaz..

These ideaz are not innovative as such.. they are just aimed at identifying a market Opportunity and capitalizing it. It is merely replicating what one has seen happening at other places.

Some of these ideaz were..

--> Mandvi as Tourism Development Centre.

--> Investment near Tuna Port.

-->Mining in North - Western Kutch.

--> Drive-in Theatre in Kutch..

--> Smart Sriman/ Srimati programmes at GIM.

--> CA Coaching Institute at GIM

read an article at fastcompany.com. it was about how the todays dot com bigges also called garage cos came up. The article tries to highlight the fact that work experience at good organizations played an important role in the development of people who came up with the ideas.

This i believe willl be true for a lot of other situations as well. so just attributing it to work exp. may not be the right way out. However it is pretty clear that most of the people who were able to attain great heigts were the one's who wanted change and used net as a tool to achieve that end!!

Water-- The Movie Insights

just watched Water...

Pretty Good Movie.. if the acting part is left out. A lot of thought came to my mind after watching it.

* Humans systems since time immemorial have been developed by and for the people who have power with them. This is where the Darwins theory of the survival of the fittest comes true.

*People like Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Raja Ram Mohan Roy etc are all the same as far as the spirit part goes. These are the people who bring in Systemic changes, they make the society a better place to live in. They are the real Engine that runs this world; they create the Ideas.. and hence social Wealth.

*Knowledge is Power.

*Also Capitalism as a concept may have been understood late however has been practicised since centuries (it would be an understatement).

*When interests match all the barriers fall. The landlords in India and the Britishers interest were on the same lines. Both at times were interested in looting the common man. So they allied together. This also shows that to win over a society, the top-bottom Strategy may be adopted. If the elite accepts you the subordinate will automatically accept you!!

Also Gyaan is just one part of it. Making the changes is the other part of the story. You need to fulfill your duties first and ensure relative stability and then plunge to contribute to the betterment of the Systems.

Back to blogging after a long time.. a lot of factors responisible for it... major one being lack of MindSpace. Hmm... pretty important resource!! Most of the top people in the world would be managing it well.. and this certainly seems to be the case with Google.

The company is riding WEB 2.0 wave very nicely and has bought out good Start-Ups. I believe they can continue powering Google.

The most important ones being

1. Orkut
2. YouTube
3. Blogger

Coupled with the applications they are developing, they are centainly gona kill Microsoft!!
